Bobby pins+nail polish+gems= way funky hair clips!
You need: 6 bobby pins (or how many you want in this case 3 pairs), pretty sparkly darker colored nail polish, super glue (no hot glue, it's too messy for this project), and little diamond studs or gems- you can get these at a craft store- look for Bedazzler size gems.
Do: Paint bobby pins with polish, you may want to use two coats. Let dry for 10 minutes. Then put glue on back of gem and play in a row along top of bobby pin, this should be the flat side-as  opposed to the ruffled side. Let gel for at least an hour. Whoila! New cut hair pins. You may also want to try little ducks or other little plastic pieces to glue on.

Keeper Gift Box
Need: cardboard/wooden box (found for cheap at craft stores, no latches, with top), Yes Glue, rhinestones, glitter glue, non-waterproof paint like acrylic, glitter paint, loose glitter, plastic confetti, paint brushes (3)
Do: Pour some paint out on to a dish, begin by painting inside of box. While drying paint the inside of the top of box. Then paint outside of box and then outside of top as drying allows. Use a different paint brush and paint on glitter paint. This can be found at craft stores and is fairly cheap. You may choose to just paint the inside or the whole box. Let dry. With a different paint brush, paint glue on to the back of rhinestones. Place decoratively on top of box and perhaps one in the center of the bottom of box. Let dry. While drying use the glitter glue to surround rhinestone to make it even more "glittery" Let dry. On inside of box only lightly sprinkle loose glitter and confetti so there's a small layer on inside. Let dry completely and you're finished.
Jewelry Box
Need: One wooden box, any size you like. Decopage, craft glue like YES glue, rhinestones or craft gems, paint- perhaps glitter paint?, paint brushes, 2-5 themed pictures: One for top of box, one for inside flap and the others for sides of box if you want them.
Do: Paint box in paint color of your choice. Perhaps use a second coat of glitter paint? Paint inside of box first and then paint outside. Let dry. Then position pictures on box the way you would like them to appear. Paint on YES glue to back of picture and position on box. Pictures are best if they are not on photo paper, you basically want a thin picture. Let dry and decopage over. Let dry. Repeat with all pictures. Then glue on rhinestones or craft gems on or around pictures to decorate. Let dry. If you are finding that the YES glue is not strong enough for the gems, try clear nail glue.
Be creative, you can make something great out of anything! Need a new look for your room? Dye your bed sheets Fushia or red, something girly and sew glamour girl patches on your pillow cases. Add some sheer window curtains above your bed for that princess effect.

Guest Chest
Find an old, preferrably wooden blanket chest at an antique or second hand store. Collage the top with old movie tickets, concert tickets, pictures of past vacations, pictures of places you'd like to travel too, and all things you love. Make sure you seal with decopage and then clear laquer. Glue on with any wood glue. You will not need to refinish the chest before you start because you will be covering any rough spots. Then on the inside fill it with random fun items: board games, puzzles, photo albums, fun conversation books and piesces. The point is to have this as a conversation piece in the living room or as a stalling piece, i.e. you are not ready but people are waiting so you want to give them something to do. It's fun, you'll always have something to talk about, and it's something very personal that can say alot about you!
Hate you current living room situation? Have no money but want to do a quick fix up?
Use summer sarongs as throws over chairs and on the back of couches or over the coffee table. They are sheer, look much more expensive than they really are and instantly brighten ui a room.
Flip Flop Fun
Dress up any old pair of Flip-Flops with  beads and some glitter paint. Old Navy sells flips for like $1.00. What you need is some paint on glitter or glitter spray "paint", a sewing needle and some charms. Cover foot part of flip flops with paper. Spray or paint on glitter on to straps. This works best on cotton or fabric straps (as opposed to plastic) but it can work. Then for fabric flip flops simply sew a loop thru some charms down the middle of one strap, doing this at random. Charms can be found online, at craft stores, or at the mall. Instantly your feet are as dazzling as your pedicure or you know, chipped polish...

Rocker Arm Bands
Need: A pair of knee high socks, siccors, needle and thread.
Do: Cut socks so that footie part is gone but leave the rest in tact. This should leave a long straight tube. Now fold sock flat so that seem is at one edge. Amp up your Converse!
*Have your favorite band sign your shoes at their next concert.
*Use multi-colored Sharpie pens to theme your converse by drawing peace signs, army print, or stars all over.
*Find funky images or stuff you love and cut it out from magazines. Next use a paintbrush to brush on some water-proof, clear non-matte gule to backside of pictures. Next, paste it on the rubber portions of the shoe, like the front and sides. Cover until desired look is accomplished. Make sure pictures are securely fastened to shoe.
Lastly, coat all the pictures with a thin layer of glue, let dry and repeat twice. Allow to dry overnight.
